What exactly do I get back?

One MP4 film between 5 and 15 seconds long, plus a single cover frame as a still image. The film is delivered in the orientation you chose — vertical 9:16 or landscape 16:9 — and on the Lucid plan you get both crops of the same film.

How long does a film take to render?

Accepted Answer

Most films finish in three to eight minutes. Rendering runs as a queued job, so you can close the tab: the film waits in your library. If the queue is busy you will see your position in it, updated live.

Can I edit the shots before it renders?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and you should. Somnique breaks your description into two to four shots and shows them to you first. You can rewrite any shot, delete one, or push a shot's share of the runtime up or down before you commit your allowance to it.

Why does my film not match my dream exactly?

Accepted Answer

Generative video models interpret rather than reproduce. You will reliably get the setting, the mood, the palette and the main subject. Precise faces, counts of objects, and written text are the things models handle worst — so we keep text out of frames entirely rather than render it badly.

Do I need a card to try it?

Accepted Answer

No. The Free plan gives you one film per month at 5 seconds and 480p with a visible watermark, and it never asks for payment details.

How does the monthly allowance work?

Each paid plan includes a fixed number of finished films per calendar month — 12, 40 or 100. The count resets on your renewal date. Unused films do not roll over into the next month.

What happens if a render fails?

The film is returned to your allowance automatically, usually within a minute of the failure, and you are told on screen and by email. A failed render never consumes anything.

Can I cancel whenever I want?

Yes. Cancel from your account page in one step. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and you keep the remaining films in that period. Nothing renews after that.

Which currency am I charged in?

All prices on this site are quoted and charged in US dollars (USD). Your bank may apply its own conversion if your card is issued in another currency.

Can I use the films commercially?

Accepted Answer

On any paid plan, yes — you may publish, monetise and use the films you generate commercially. Free plan output is licensed for personal, non-commercial use only and carries a visible watermark.

Is my dream text used to train models?

Accepted Answer

No. What you write and what you generate is never used to train models, ours or anyone else's. Your text and files are stored only to run the render and to keep your library available for the retention window of your plan.

Question 12

Will it generate a real person if I name one?

Accepted Answer

No. If your description names a real, identifiable person, that name is replaced with a non-specific figure before rendering, and we tell you it happened. Somnique does not produce likenesses of real people.

Question 13

Is the output marked as AI-generated?

Accepted Answer

Always. Every file carries signed machine-readable provenance metadata declaring it as AI-generated, and Free plan films also carry a visible watermark. This applies to all plans, paid ones included.

Does Somnique tell me what my dream means?

Accepted Answer

No, and it never will. This is a rendering tool. It offers no interpretation, no psychological reading, no emotional analysis and no health or sleep guidance.
