Content Policy

Somnique renders dreams. It does not interpret them, and it provides no psychological, emotional, therapeutic, medical or sleep-related reading, advice or diagnosis of any kind.

Asking what a dream means, or for any assessment of your mental or physical state, is declined rather than answered. Nothing on this site — including any film it produces — should be treated as a substitute for professional advice. If something about your sleep or your wellbeing concerns you, speak to a qualified professional where you live.

This is a deliberate product decision, not a limitation. Dream interpretation is not a thing a video renderer should be doing.

Somnique does not generate the likeness of any real, identifiable person — public figure or otherwise. If a description names one, that name is replaced with a non-specific figure before rendering and you are told it happened.

Also refused, without exception:

• Face swapping, or transferring one person's face or body onto another.
• Uploading a photograph of someone else to use as reference.
• Any attempt to make a film depicting a real person doing or saying something.

The films this service makes are of unnamed, non-specific figures. If you appear in your own dream, you will see a figure, not yourself.

Descriptions that place children, minors or anyone depicted as under 18 in a frame are refused in every context — not only sexual ones. This is absolute and there is no appeal process for it.

Sexual, explicit, pornographic and fetish material is refused, as are nudity and content designed to be sexually suggestive. Somnique is not an adult service and does not intend to become one.

Blood, wounds, mutilation, torture, corpses, executions and similar imagery are refused. Dreams are often unsettling, and the renderer handles dread, weight and threat perfectly well — describe how it felt rather than what was damaged, and it will film that.

Somnique will not generate any of the following, even as a background prop:

• Passports, identity cards, driving licences, visas and other identity documents.
• Certificates, diplomas, qualifications and licences.
• Invoices, receipts, bank statements and financial records.
• Medical records, prescriptions and insurance documents.
• Contracts and other legal instruments.
• Currency, cheques, stamps and tickets.

Real logos, brand marks, product liveries and trade dress are not reproduced. Describe an object generically — “a red sports car”, not a named marque — and it will be rendered.

Descriptions asking for the personal style of a named living artist, illustrator, photographer or director are declined. The ten built-in styles are the supported way to control how a film looks, and none of them is modelled on a specific living person's work.

Signage, captions, subtitles, labels, dates, numbers and any other lettering are kept out of generated frames entirely. Generative models render text badly, and a film full of malformed words is worse than one with none.

Every word you see on this site — titles, captions, prices, style names — is typeset by the site around the image, never drawn inside it.

• No content promoting hatred against, or dehumanising, any group.
• No content promoting or instructing self-harm, suicide or disordered eating.
• No instructions for weapons, explosives or other means of causing harm.
• No content promoting terrorism or violent extremism.
• No content designed to harass, intimidate or endanger a specific person.

Descriptions and shot lines are checked when you submit them and again on the server before rendering begins. If something is refused you see which rule applied and why. A refusal never costs you a film.

Automated checks are imperfect in both directions. If you believe a description was refused wrongly, email support@tonyturmin.shop with the wording and we will look at it. If something got through that should not have, report it the same way and we will remove it.

Repeated attempts to get around these limits lead to suspension. Anything involving minors, or material that endangers a real person, results in immediate closure of the account without refund and, where the law requires it, a report to the relevant authority. See the Acceptable Use Policy.
