Privacy Policy

Somnique collects the minimum needed to render your films and bill you correctly. This page says what that is, how long it stays, and how to have it removed.

Last updated 16 September 2026

The short version

  • Your dream descriptions and films are never used to train AI models — ours or anyone else's.
  • We never sell your personal data or share it for advertising.
  • Files are deleted automatically at the end of your plan's retention window, and immediately on request.
  • We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and there is no third-party analytics profiling you across sites.

1. Who is responsible

The operator of Somnique at tonyturmin.shop is the data controller for the personal data described here. All privacy requests and questions go to support@tonyturmin.shop.

2. What we collect

  • Account data — your email address and a hashed password (or the identifier from the sign-in method you chose). Needed to give you an account and send you receipts and render notices.
  • Content you submit — the dream description you write, the shot list you approve, and the style, length and orientation you pick.
  • Generated output — the film and cover frame produced for you, plus their provenance metadata.
  • Billing data — plan, billing period, amounts, and from the payment provider a payment token, card brand, last four digits and expiry. We never receive or store your full card number or security code.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, and timestamps of requests, kept in server logs for security, abuse prevention and debugging.
  • Support correspondence — the emails you send us and our replies.

We do not ask for and do not want special category data — health, biometric, political, religious or similar information. Please do not put any into a dream description.

3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis

  • To provide the service (render films, keep your library, let you sign in) — performance of our contract with you.
  • To take payment and handle refunds — performance of our contract, and legal obligation for tax and accounting records.
  • To run content safety checks before rendering — our legitimate interest in keeping the service lawful and safe, and compliance with law.
  • To prevent abuse, fraud and card testing — our legitimate interest in protecting the service.
  • To answer support requests — performance of our contract and our legitimate interest in supporting customers.
  • To send service emails (render finished, render failed, receipt, policy change) — performance of our contract. These are not marketing and cannot be turned off while you hold an account.

4. Model training

Your dream descriptions, shot lists, generated films and cover frames are not used to train, fine-tune, evaluate or improve any AI model. They are sent to the model provider solely to render your film, and we require providers to process that content only for that purpose and not to retain it for training. We do not sell or license your content to anyone.

5. Who we share data with

We use a small number of processors, each only for what they are needed for:

  • A cloud hosting and content delivery provider, which runs the site and stores files.
  • An AI model provider, which receives the shot lines needed to render your film.
  • A payment provider, which handles checkout, card data, renewals and refunds.
  • An email delivery provider, which sends receipts and render notifications.

Each is bound by contract to process data only on our instructions and to protect it. We also disclose data where the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims. We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers.

6. International transfers

Our processors may handle data outside your country, including in the United States. Where data leaves the UK or European Economic Area, it is transferred under an approved safeguard — standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision — and we keep the transfer limited to what the service needs.

7. How long we keep things

  • Films and cover frames — for the retention window of your plan: 7 days on Free, 30 days on Drowsy, 90 days on Reverie, 180 days on Lucid. They are then deleted automatically. Download anything you want to keep.
  • Dream descriptions and shot lists — deleted with the film they belong to, on the same schedule.
  • Account data — while your account is open, then 30 days after you close it, then deleted.
  • Billing records — kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically six years. These are financial records, not your creative content.
  • Server logs — 30 days.
  • Support emails — 24 months.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent. If you are in the EU, UK, California or another region with equivalent law, those rights apply to you.

Exercise any of them by emailing support@tonyturmin.shop. We answer within 30 days and do not charge for it. We will ask you to confirm you control the account email before acting on a request. You may also delete your films yourself at any time from your library, which removes them immediately.

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing for a Californian resident to opt out of on that front.

If you think we have handled your data badly, tell us first — and you also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.

9. Security

The whole site is served over HTTPS. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. Card data never reaches our servers. Access to production systems is limited to the operator and protected by multi-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects your data we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

10. Children

Somnique is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it and its content.

11. Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Details are in the Cookie Policy.

12. Changes

If this policy changes materially we will email account holders and update the date at the top of this page before the change takes effect.
