Refund and Cancellation Policy

Somnique sells a digital service that is delivered immediately. This page sets out exactly when money comes back, how to cancel, and how long it takes — with no conditions hidden elsewhere.

Last updated 16 September 2026

Summary

  • Cancel any time, in one step, from your account page. No phone call, no email required.
  • Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for.
  • A failed render never costs anything — the film returns to your allowance automatically.
  • If the service could not deliver what you paid for, you get your money back.
  • Films you have already generated are not refundable simply because you did not like the result.

1. How to cancel

Open your account page and choose Cancel plan. The cancellation is effective immediately in the sense that no further payment will be taken; your plan and its remaining films stay available until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and the account then reverts to the Free plan.

If you cannot reach your account page for any reason, email support@tonyturmin.shop from the address on the account and we will cancel it for you, effective from the date your message arrives.

No cancellation fee is charged, ever. The Free plan requires no cancellation because it takes no payment details.

2. When we refund in full

We will refund a payment in full, without argument, in each of these cases:

  • Duplicate charge. You were billed twice for the same period.
  • Charged after cancelling. A renewal was taken after you cancelled.
  • Service failure. Rendering was unavailable, or repeatedly failed, for more than 72 consecutive hours during a paid period, and you could not use the films you paid for.
  • Unauthorised payment. The charge was made without the cardholder's permission. Tell us and we will refund it and close the affected account.
  • First 14 days, unused. Within 14 days of your first payment on a plan, if you have generated no films on it, we refund that payment in full on request. This is a goodwill window and applies once per account.

3. When we refund in part

  • If a technical fault on our side consumed films from your allowance and the fault was not corrected automatically, we refund the value of those films or restore them, whichever you prefer.
  • If we suspend your account for a reason that is not a serious breach of the terms, we refund the unused portion of the current paid period.
  • If we materially reduce what a plan includes mid-period, you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund of the remainder of that period.

4. When we do not refund

Because films are generated on demand and consume rendering capacity the moment they are submitted, we do not refund in these cases:

  • Films that rendered successfully but did not look the way you hoped. Generative models interpret rather than reproduce — use the Free plan first to see what the output is like.
  • Films you generated and then decided you did not want.
  • Unused films at the end of a month. Allowances do not carry over and are not refundable as cash.
  • Part-used periods where you simply stopped using the service. Cancel and the plan will not renew.
  • Accounts closed by us for a serious breach of the Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy or Content Policy.
  • Charges older than 90 days, other than in the cases listed in section 2.

None of this affects statutory rights you may have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence, which we honour where they apply.

5. Failed renders never cost anything

If a render fails at any stage, the film is returned to your monthly allowance automatically, usually within a minute, and you are told on screen and by email. This is not a refund and requires no request — no money is involved because nothing was charged beyond your plan fee. The same applies when you cancel a film while it is still in the queue, and when a description is refused by the content checks.

6. How to request a refund

Email support@tonyturmin.shop from the address on the account with:

  • The date and amount of the charge.
  • The last four digits of the card used, if you have them.
  • One line on what went wrong.

We acknowledge every refund request within one business day and decide it within five business days. If we decline, we tell you which part of this policy applies and why.

7. How long refunds take to arrive

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method — we cannot send a refund anywhere else. Once issued, the money typically appears within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your card issuer or bank; the delay after that point is theirs, not ours. You receive an email confirmation the moment the refund is issued.

8. Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. A chargeback freezes the account until the dispute closes and takes far longer than a refund. If you have already raised one, email us and we will supply the same information to your bank that we would have used to refund you directly.

Delivery timings and failure handling are in the Delivery Policy. Plan prices and billing mechanics are on the pricing page and in the Terms of Service.
