Policy
Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Somnique at tonyturmin.shop. By creating an account or generating a film you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
Last updated 16 September 2026
1. What the service is
Somnique is a web service that takes a written description of a dream, breaks it into a short shot list, and renders it as a short video file with a cover frame using generative AI models. It does one thing and does not offer anything else.
Somnique does not interpret dreams. It provides no psychological, emotional, medical, therapeutic or sleep-related advice, diagnosis or guidance of any kind, and nothing produced by it or written on this site should be treated as such. If you have concerns about your health or sleep, consult a qualified professional where you live.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Somnique and must have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. The service is not directed at children and accounts may not be created by or for a person under 18.
You may not use the service where doing so would break the law that applies to you, and you may not use it if you are located in, or ordinarily resident in, a country or territory subject to comprehensive trade sanctions applicable to this service, or if you appear on any applicable restricted-party list. See Acceptable Use for the full restrictions.
3. Accounts
- You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping your login details secure.
- One person, one account. Sharing an account so that several people draw on one monthly allowance is not permitted.
- Give an email address you can actually receive mail at — receipts, render notifications and account notices all go there.
- Tell us promptly at support@tonyturmin.shop if you believe someone else is using your account.
4. Plans, prices and billing
Somnique is offered on four plans. Every price on this site is quoted and charged in US dollars (USD):
- Free — USD $0, 1 film per month, up to 5 seconds each at 480p, with a visible watermark.
- Drowsy — USD $10.99 per month, 12 films per month, up to 10 seconds each at 720p, with no watermark.
- Reverie — USD $24.99 per month, 40 films per month, up to 15 seconds each at 1080p, with no watermark.
- Lucid — USD $52.99 per month, 100 films per month, up to 15 seconds each at 1080p, with no watermark.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically on the same calendar day each month until cancelled. The Free plan never requires payment details. There are no setup fees and no usage overages — when a month's films are used up, rendering pauses until the plan renews. Unused films do not carry over.
We may change prices. If we do, existing subscribers are given at least 30 days' notice by email before the change applies to their renewal, and may cancel before it takes effect. Taxes, where they apply, are shown at checkout.
Cancellation and refunds are covered in full by the Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
5. Payment processing and security
Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider. Card details are entered directly on that provider's PCI DSS compliant hosted form and are never transmitted to or stored on this site's servers; we receive a payment token, the card brand and the last four digits for your receipts. The whole site, including checkout, is served over HTTPS.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method you provide. If a payment is declined or reversed, we may suspend rendering until the balance is settled.
6. Delivery
Films are delivered digitally, inside the service, as a downloadable MP4 file with a cover frame. There is nothing physical to ship. Rendering is queued and typically completes in three to eight minutes. Full timings, failure handling and retention windows are in the Delivery Policy.
7. Your content and what you may submit
You keep ownership of the text you write. You grant us only the limited licence needed to run the service: to process your description, render your film, store both for the retention window of your plan, and deliver them back to you.
We do not use your descriptions, your films or anything else you submit to train AI models, ours or anyone else's, and we do not sell it or license it to third parties.
You must not submit material you have no right to submit, and you must follow the Acceptable Use Policy and Content Policy. Descriptions that breach them are refused before rendering, and nothing is deducted from your allowance when that happens.
8. Rights in the films you generate
- Paid plans — you may use, publish, modify and monetise the films you generate, including commercially, worldwide, with no further payment to us.
- Free plan — output is licensed for personal, non-commercial use only and carries a visible watermark. Removing or obscuring that watermark is not permitted.
- Generative output is not unique by nature: similar descriptions may produce similar films for other people, and we make no promise of exclusivity.
- Copyright in AI-generated material is treated differently in different countries and may not be protectable everywhere. We grant you every right we have; we cannot grant rights the law does not recognise.
9. AI transparency
Everything the service produces is AI-generated and is marked as such: signed machine-readable provenance metadata is written into every file, and Free plan films also carry a visible watermark. You must not remove, alter or obscure these markings, and you must not present output from this service as a photograph, as a recording of real events, or as the work of a person. See the AI Transparency Notice.
10. Service availability and changes
We aim to keep Somnique available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Rendering depends on third-party model providers, and capacity, queue times and model behaviour can change. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features; if we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and will not charge for periods after it stops.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy or the Content Policy, that is used for fraud or chargeback abuse, or that we are required to close by law. Where a suspension is not due to a serious breach, we will refund the unused portion of the current paid period. You may close your account at any time; see the Refund and Cancellation Policy for what happens to your plan.
12. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that a film will match your description, meet a particular standard, or be fit for a specific purpose. Generative models interpret rather than reproduce: settings, mood and subject are usually reliable; exact faces, counts and lettering are not, and text is deliberately kept out of frames entirely.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or lost opportunity. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Consumers keep all statutory rights that cannot be excluded under the law of their country of residence.
14. Indemnity
You agree to cover us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or your use or publication of films you generated.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email and on this page at least 14 days before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page always shows the current version. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
16. Complaints and disputes
Tell us first: write to support@tonyturmin.shop and describe the problem. Almost everything is resolved that way, and it is faster than a chargeback — a disputed charge freezes the account until the dispute closes. If we cannot resolve it between us, you keep any rights you have to bring a claim under the law of your country of residence.
17. General
If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a clause is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your account or these terms to someone else without our consent. These terms, together with the policies linked from them, are the entire agreement between us about the service.
